Overview

In this private boat excursion, visit Changuu (Prison Island) to see giant tortoises and historic ruins, then continue to Nakupenda sandbank for snorkeling and swimming. Enjoy a private lunch on the beach of fresh seafood, making for a relaxing exclusive beach day trip.

Itinerary

Pick up from Stone Town in the morning and board a private boat to Prison Island (Changuu). Explore the island, its giant tortoise sanctuary, and old prison ruins. Then sail to Nakupenda Beach, a lovely sandbank off the coast. Snorkel in the clear lagoon or relax on the beach. Enjoy a private lunch on Nakupenda (grilled seafood or picnic) and fresh fruits. After a leisurely afternoon, return by boat to Stone Town.
